Epson Artisan 810 Review

For $200 the Epson Artisan 810 All-in-one is one helluva printer.  The black piano finish is stylish and a welcome addition to any den or home office.  It prints high-quality prints while offering duplex printing, faxing, wi-fi, ipod charging and a multi-card reader. Finally one can print from anywhere in the house from multiple computers and wireless devices without a cumbersome cable.

Sadly, the tray is not built as well as the rest of the printer and one must carefully load paper to avoid jams and error messages.  One must also remove all the paper to print one envelope as the tray will not recognize it otherwise.

Raw files from CF cards will not print and I recommend you use Epson paper for the best possible prints.

Ink will run you about $100 for a multi-pack which permitted me to print about 100 4 x 6 prints before starting to replace the individual cartridges.  Ink removal and replacement is seamless thanks to an informative touch screen and excellent communication with your computers.

I would highly recommend this awesome all-in-one.

The multi-pack ink cost about $100.
